Construction Management

For professionals in the construction and civil engineering industries wishing to develop their careers, the Construction Management specialization has been designed. The primary components of construction management will be covered in this 5-course specialization, including project initiation and planning, scheduling methodologies and procedures, cost estimating and control, and financial aspects of construction projects. Each course in the specialization will incorporate real-world projects to help students apply the knowledge they are learning. Your classmates will peer-review your projects, and you will do the same for others' work. Peer reviews will be conducted according to guidelines that are covered in the course. After finishing the course, you'll be able to identify risk and delegate responsibility for it, design a work breakdown structure, develop a project timeline, work on a project plan, and create a project budget.
