The Doha Corniche, one of Doha's most iconic attractions, is a seven-kilometer stretch of beautiful promenade overlooking the tranquil waterfront. The Corniche, a crescent-shaped walkway around Doha Bay, provides the best views of the city's modern skyline and serves as the focal point for various events such as National Day celebrations and National Sports Day. While walking around the bay in the evenings, watch the dhows light up the Corniche, or simply take a boat ride to take in the sights of this city.
The Corniche activation is a street festival showcasing Qatari culture and representing cultures of other countries participating in the World Cup. The Corniche will be transformed into a carnival-like atmosphere as nations from all over the world celebrate. 29 global street celebrations, 6 km of spectacular acts, 150+ food outlets, live stages, daily water and light shows, and family and child-friendly entertainment are all on the agenda. FIFA describes The FIFA Fan FestivalTM as "the greatest football party in the world!" It is the ideal location to watch live FIFA World CupTM matches while also enjoying an exciting mix of music and entertainment.
The Corniche Activation is free, open to public, family-oriented, with food, retail, music, live programming, roaming acts and other activations. Open from 10 am to midnight.
