Crescent Beach
Crescent Beach is a family-friendly beach on the Caspian Sea in the Baku district of Shikh. It's a safe paddling site thanks to the gradual drop-off into the sea, and it's a popular family destination with to a play park and a variety of dining options. The silhouette of an oil rig looms in the distance, which may be a blight on the landscape for some, but it floats out there on the sea with a futuristic elegance.
Crescent Beach is a great place to go for a day at the beach! Swim, play beach volleyball, and take in the scenery from the pier and nature walks. Beecher Street, Sullivan Street, and Target Street are the best beach access sites. At Sullivan Point, there are beach volleyball courts and a huge grassy space perfect for a blanket picnic.
Crescent Beach now has a new beach wheelchair, thanks to the Semiahmoo Self-Advocates. Throughout the summer, the wheelchair can be borrowed from the lifeguard station in Sullivan Point Park between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. It features a seatbelt and chest straps, and it can be used with the help of an attendant, friend, or family member.
