Crooked River Weddings is located on 2376 Grout Road, six miles southwest of Gladwin. This unique wedding site sits on top of a bend of the Tobbacco River. This 200-plus-acre property is a magical place of tranquility designed specifically for a casual, country, or rustic-themed wedding.
Crooked River Weddings offers you several ceremony options. Your ceremony can take place on top of the hill with the river as a backdrop. The most popular site is crossing the sixty-foot-long covered bridge that leads to a grassy area where your visitors may enjoy the river on both sides while watching the paddle wheel spin in the current. Then there's the barn, a 4800-square-foot 100-year-old structure perched atop the river bend. If the weather is terrible, the barn is used, but more importantly, it is used for the reception!
They may relax and enjoy the river, deer grazing in the grassy meadows, and lastly, a lovely sunset over Amish farms in the distance. More special, Crooked River Weddings also has an old stone guest house for the bridal party to get ready, hang out, and have a good time until the ceremony starts.
