Since late 1993, Eric has been working on the web and is a known authority on the topics of HTML, CSS, and Web standards. He founded Complex Spiral Consulting, was a co-founder of the microformats movement, and founded An Event Apart with Jeffrey Zeldman, a design conference series for web designers.
