Cuisinart COH-800
Cuisinart COH-800 is unlike any other smokeless fire pit due to its bowl-shaped design. It has three components: the main section, a top circle that serves as a windshield, and a bottom that serves as an ashtray tray. We could pull it off with a bend of its body, place it somewhere else, and then pour the ash from the base. We cannot emphasize enough how much simpler our cleaning process becomes with the removable base. It is a really useful feature.
One benefit of the dished form of this Cuisinart COH-800 was that it seemed to reflect a significant amount of heat outward at an angle. Even when the embers were not extending out of the pit, they formed a warm area in the form of a squat cone. And once they have fully extended, you could sense an increase in the amount of heat radiating directly from them.
However, a minor drawback of the concave design is that, even though we were able to put 14-inch logs within it, they did not fall to the bottom. This made it harder to replenish the pit and maintain a larger fire.
