CVS Pharmacy
CVS Pharmacy is one of the largest retail pharmacy enterprises in the United States, with approximately 9,600 stores nationwide. CVS stands for "Consumer Value Store." Founded in 1963 by Stanley and Sidney Goldstein, as well as Ralph Hoagland, with the purpose of assisting retailers in the management of health and beauty products, the company expanded to include pharmacies a few years later.
CVS Pharmacy sells non-prescription drugs, cosmetics, functional foods, seasonal products, and invitation cards in addition to prescription pharmaceuticals. CVS has an online consultation channel, CVS.com, that receives millions of visitors each day, and specialists are available at all times to aid and advise anyone. Customers who come to get their diabetes checked, informed, and cared for at CVS are also served by MinuteClinic clinics. CVS Pharmacy provides simple, inexpensive, and accessible community-based, innovative healthcare solutions. In 2020, CVS is investigating many medicines to treat COVID-19, with the number expected to rise to meet current demand.
