Darkwood Beach
Locals in Antigua and Barbuda consider Darkwood Beach to be one of their favorite beaches. Darkwood Beach appears to have it all, despite the fact that each of the 366 beaches has its own unique feature. The ideal environment for anyone seeking to journey back in time to the Caribbean is the pristine white sand beaches and clear blue waters. Darkwood Beach is a great place to spend the day because it's away from the resort crowds but yet crowded with usual colorful shacks selling up island beverages as well as pubs and eateries serving up simple but delicious meals all day. It's also possible to rent deck chairs and umbrellas from several of the establishments.
Swash Water Park, where an inflatable obstacle course is put up for some family fun and friendly chuckles, is Darkwood Beach's most famous attraction for the young and the young in heart. Because Darkwood Beach is at a short distance from the cruise ports, the number of people who visit the beach increases anytime a cruise ship docks nearby. However, the vast, spacious beach can still be enjoyed to its full potential.
