DaVinci Resolve
DaVinci Resolve (formerly known as da Vinci Resolve) is a color grading and non-linear video editing (NLE) tool for macOS, Windows, and Linux that was developed by da Vinci Systems before being acquired by Blackmagic Design in 2009. DaVinci Resolve is the software of choice for many professional editors of films, television shows, and commercials because it integrates excellent 8K editing, color correction, visual effects, and audio post-production in a single product package.
DaVinci supports both offline and online editing, and its high-performance playback engine saves time when editing and trimming—even when working with processor-intensive file types like H.264 and RAW. The complicated capabilities of DaVinci Resolve may be too much for some people, but the free version is ideal for more advanced jobs.
