Düden Waterfalls
Located in Turkey’s Antalya province, Düden Waterfalls consists of two areas – an upper and a lower area. It attracts around 700,000 tourists every year. These waterfalls are considered one of the most famous waterfalls in Turkey and are located in the tourist city of Antalya, about 7 km from the residential area and close to the sea as they are no more than 10 km. These waterfalls are divided into two parts, upper and lower because the upper falls branch off into several small streams that flow into the lower part and end in the Mediterranean Sea, and a large number of tourists head to the upper part of waterfalls, including an ancient and natural cave. It's a place to visit and take photos, and there are a number of important restaurants and parks spread throughout the waterfall area, in addition to modern animals suitable for family visits, so that children can enjoy watching and recognizing the strange animals.
Düden Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Turkey, truly a treat to the onlooker's eyes. Dudenbaşı Falls (above) is where locals go to cool off in the surrounding picnic areas. It also has a great cave behind flowing water that can be accessed via a narrow staircase. The streams from Dudenbaşı eventually flow into the lower waterfall, which pours straight into the Mediterranean from a rather dramatic waterfall when best viewed from a boat on the water. The falls cascade into the sea from the cliffs at a height of 40 meters, thus creating a mist that gives it a beautiful view. It's a popular picnic spot for most locals.
