Deidra & Laney Rob a Train

Laney and Deidra Sydney Freeland directed Rob a Train, a comedic drama crime film based on a script by Shelby Farrell. On January 23, 2017, the film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival before being published on Netflix on March 17, 2017.

Deidra & Laney's mother Marigold gets arrested and they are left to fend for themselves. Deidra devises a scheme to rob trains in order to save her younger sister Laney and younger brother Jet from being placed in foster care. They want sufficient funds to assist their mother in paying her expenses and bailing her out of jail. Along the journey, they rekindle old friendships and discover who among their family and friends can be trusted.
