Disneyland

Disneyland is likely already on the travel wish lists of the majority of families with children. Although it is frequently a destination by itself, Disneyland is a short drive (less than 30 miles) from Los Angeles. The "Magical Kingdom" at this well-known theme park enchants kids of all ages.

This immensely famous Cajun and Creole restaurant with a Louisiana flavor serves food on a romantic patio lit by lanterns. Making reservations well in advance is strongly advised due to the restaurant's popularity.

Families can spend the night at the Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, which has a beach vacation theme, the beautiful Craftsman-style Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or the Disneyland Hotel, which features a pool and a waterslide play area. All of these accommodations are part of the Disneyland Resort.
