DIVA

In 2020, Shin Min Ah made a comeback on the big screen with the famous release of DIVA. She also makes a cinematic appearance in this movie after a long time over 6 years taking a hiatus to follow her boyfriend's treatment. The movie centers on Lee Young (Shin Min Ah), a swimmer, and Soo Jin (Lee Yoo Young) - a childhood best friend. While the two people were preparing for the Olympics, a surprising accident occurred, leaving Soo Jin injured. Lee Young lost all memory of what had happened and feel empty even though she was still alive.

Lee Young's mind is always plagued by odd recollections; she is unable to recall the murderer from that particular day. However, she tried her best to find out the truth. Because the DIVA movie mostly features diving scenes, Min Ah, a person who is enthusiastic about her job, said that in order to perform in it, she also underwent extensive swimming training and spend four months submerged in order to assume the greatest persona.
