Dora lake
Snowbirds, especially anglers, find Lake Dora to be a sanctuary. This breathtaking area, which is a part of Lake County's Harris Chain of Lakes, spans over 4,500 acres. The closest communities to the lake are Tavares and Mount Dora, which are located just over 40 minutes northwest of Orlando (on its north and east shores).
