Dr. Michelle Katz
Dr. Michelle Katz is a board-certified orthodontist with offices on the Upper East Side and in the West Village. She offers traditional braces as well as Invisalign and Invisalign Teen and provides personalized care using cutting-edge technology. Dr. Katz belongs to the American Association of Orthodontists as well as the American Dental Association. During her education, she volunteered in Nicaragua, providing dental care to underserved communities.
Dr. Katz envisioned a relaxing environment where people could avoid the usual hassles of a traditional appointment by paying more attention to the patient's comfort.
Dr. Katz received her magna cum laude from Cornell University before going on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. During this time, Dr. Katz volunteered in Nicaragua, providing dental care to underserved communities. This experience shaped Dr. Katz's patient-centered approach to oral healthcare and cemented her desire to help others.
Dr. Katz received her general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center before pursuing her specialty training in orthodontics at Jacksonville University.
