Dry Dock Beach
Even though Dry Dock beach only has a little strip of sand, it gets crowded on weekends with migrant laborers who live nearby and locals from Hidd and the surrounding villages. It's a great spot for a picnic, and people often swim in the river early in the morning. It provides a welcome respite from the surrounding built-up environment. It is one of the best public beaches in Bahrain, and travelers should go at least once while in the country. People should not pass up such an opportunity because it only comes around once in a lifetime and is one of the best destinations to visit in the Middle East. Kids will have the time of their lives because beaches are ideal for building sandcastles.
