Established in 2006, EWIS holds accreditation from esteemed educational bodies, including the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
Catering to approximately 500 students hailing from 19 different nationalities, ranging in age from 2 to 18 years, EWIS offers two comprehensive programs: the fully bilingual program (Khmer/English) and the English-only program. Students have the flexibility to choose the program that aligns with their preferences and abilities. Furthermore, the school provides Spanish as an additional language option.
At the primary level, EWIS follows the esteemed Singapore Primary Schools Program, while the secondary level curriculum encompasses the internationally recognized Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) courses. Students have the opportunity to sit for the International General Certificate for Secondary Examination (IGCSE) in Grade 10, followed by the Advanced Level (A Level) examinations in Grades 11 and 12. For those aspiring to pursue higher education in Cambodia, EWIS also accommodates students who wish to undertake the Khmer National Exams.
East-West International School is committed to delivering a high-quality education that fosters academic excellence, global citizenship, and personal growth. The school boasts a dedicated team of qualified and experienced teachers, many of whom are native speakers of English or Khmer. To ensure individual attention and support, EWIS maintains small class sizes, with an average of 18 students per class and a maximum of 22 students per class.
EWIS's overarching vision is to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century, enabling them to thrive and make meaningful contributions to society.
