The Ecole Globale International Girls' School in Dehradun is an English-medium, fully residential girls' school that is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in New Delhi for primary, middle, and senior school curriculum and the University of Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE) in the United Kingdom for senior secondary curriculum.
The term ''Ecole Globale'' is formed from the French words - Ecole and Globale, which means global. It takes a comprehensive approach to education and offers a worldwide curriculum, as the name implies.
The school's campus covers 40 acres and provides students with world-class amenities. The application period begins in November and ends in mid-February. To provide personalized attention to each kid, a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:10 is used. From fourth through twelfth grades, Ecole Globale provides instruction. After Class 8, students have the option of studying science or commerce. The school is situated on a 40-acre complex that spans 16 hectares.
At the 3rd National School Excellence Awards Ceremony, held by Brain feed in New Delhi, Ecole Globale International Girls' School received the National Excellence Award.
Besides academics, the school encourages extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as needlecraft, music- Classical Indian vocal, tabla, guitar, drums, debating, elocution, literary club, dramatics, cookery, finishing school (life skills, first aid and lifesaving skills, fitness, public speaking, culinary, home management skills, basic grooming, and social graces), western and classical dance.
