Empire Hotel
In the Manhattan neighborhood of New York City, The Empire Hotel is a boutique hotel situated along West 63rd Street (at Broadway). 50 suites are among the 426 bedrooms in the Empire Hotel. From the time it was rebuilt in 1922 until it was renovated in 2007 by interior designers Goodman Charlton, the New York hotel remained unaltered.
The Empire Hotel, which was owned by the character Chuck Bass in the adolescent drama series Gossip Girl on The CW, was featured heavily throughout the program (Ed Westwick). According to a report from January 2010, the hotel's reservations increased by five to ten percent as a result of the publicity the program gave it.
This chic rooftop space boasts views of Lincoln Center and a two-level terrace with a plunge pool, outdoor shower, and retractable roof. Enjoy a beverage from the pool deck menu while lounging in one of the opulent couches. Just be sure to get there before it closes in September, or you'll have to wait until May to go swimming.
