Eravikulam National Park

The Western Ghats summit where Eravikulam National Park is located in 45 minutes drive from Munnar's city center. This is one of the most popular locations for Munnar sightseeing, covering a 97-kilometer land area. It is one of the other UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is home to an abundance of flora and species. Eravikulam National Park, originally known as the Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, was first managed as a game reserve. The wildlife in Eravikulam National Park is extremely diverse. Around 132 different bird species, 19 different amphibian species, 26 different mammalian species, 101 different butterfly species, and 20 different orchid species can be found here.
