eufy
Anker Innovations, a Chinese electronics business, owns the eufy brand. This firm specializes in the production of smart home products such as baby monitors, security cameras, and video-enabled doorbells. They also provide a large selection of robot vacuums, most of which are reasonably priced. Most eufy robot vacuums are small and work well on bare, level surfaces like hardwood or tile.
Many of their vacuums also include the brand's 'BoostIQ' technology, which allows them to automatically alter suction strength mode based on the surface they're on. Unfortunately, they frequently struggle to clean dirt on carpeted floors, and the bulk of their models have limited mapping systems and poor automated functions.
This robot vacuum is priced higher than many other models in the eufy product range, such as the eufy RoboVac 30C. It maps out its coverage area using a LIDAR sensor and has significant automation features, such as the ability to schedule cleaning sessions for certain rooms or set up virtual boundary lines to keep it out of certain areas. It performs admirably on bare floors, easily removing pet hair as well as tiny and heavy detritus. It also performs well on high-pile carpet, but suffers with fine debris on low-pile carpet. The vacuum itself has low ongoing expenses and appears to be well-made.
