Fairy Pools

Fairy pool, beautiful crystal blue pools on the River Brittle. This popular pool attracts visitors from all over the world, as it makes for some great 'Wild Swimming' for those brave enough to step into the frigid waters. For the less adventurous, these Magical Fairy Pools make for some great photos.

Walking to the pools uses the same route there and back. The completed distance to the first main pool and waterfall is 2.4 km, with the average time to complete the hike is 40 minutes (no stops). Most people will spend their time going upriver from the first waterfall to explore the different pools. Take a romantic walk by the beach, or on warmer days, some of the pools have swimmer-friendly waters, perfect for cooling off in the summer heat.
