They present readers with fantastic animals and amazing civilizations. The author's creativity is the only constraint. Another indication of the genre's prominence is the presence of sci-fi or fantasy literature on any list of best-selling or most popular books of all time. Furthermore, in recent years, this book genre has been the most popular for film and television adaptations.
