Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a black comedy film from the United States released in 1998, based on Hunter S. Thompson's 1971 novel of the same name. Terry Gilliam co-wrote and directed the film, which stars Johnny Depp as Raoul Duke and Benicio del Toro as Dr. Gonzo, respectively.
