FIFA Confederations Cup
FIFA organizes an international football competition for national teams every four years. In 1992, the event was established. With four championships, Brazil is the most successful team in the FIFA Confederations Cup. Since 2005, Confederations Cup has been staged in the country that will host the FIFA World Cup in the following year. It's turned into a sort of warm-up event for the main game.
Brazil, as the 2014 FIFA World Cup host nation, was in charge of organizing the Confederations Cup in 2013, in which they won 3-0 over Spain in the final. The FIFA Confederations Cup is still ranked ninth in the world's top ten football competitions.
