FJMT Studio
Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp's studio has become synonymous with three words: form, material, and assembly. The FJMT Studio design for Bunji Place, a multi-use building that integrates a library, performance theatre, public gathering area, and art gallery under one roof, was one of the first projects people fell in love with.
The project exemplifies FJMT Studio's reputation as an ideas-driven firm focused on creating transformative environments with tectonic resolution. Their design for the Auckland Art Gallery (seen above) is a stunning tribute to New Zealand's bi-cultural heritage.
