Florida State University
The online Master of Science in Criminal Justice program at Florida State University is designed to prepare students for a variety of careers, including new roles with law enforcement agencies, leadership positions with current businesses, and teaching positions at Florida community colleges.
This 36-credit hour non-thesis degree program is entirely online, with no need to go to a campus. Courses are provided in an asynchronous format, which means that students can access classes and complete coursework at their leisure. By completing two courses each semester, full-time students can finish the degree program in two years. A previously earned bachelor's degree, a recent CV, and a personal statement outlining the learners' performance for pursuing the degree via distance learning are all required for admission. For applicants with fewer than five years of relevant professional experience, a GRE score is also necessary.
