Foley's School
As one of the best international schools in Cyprus, Foley’s School is a private, independent, multinational, and co-ed school that become a home to hundreds of students globally. It is a British day school with an international enrolment catering for all age groups from 3 years (Pre-Reception) to 18 (A levels and university entrance).
The school has the vision to aim high, challenge ourselves, and develop a lifelong love of learning, acquiring the character and skills needed for life along the way. Around 50 different nationalities are presented at this school and English is the language of instruction. It broadly follows the UK National Curriculum, but it does not follow strictly but is adapted slightly to make it more relevant to international pupils.
By adopting this curriculum, excellence is seen. The eventual goals are external examinations, IGCSEs, and A levels, with London (Edexcel) and Cambridge examination boards. Special Education and support are provided in proportion according to the provisions of the Law on Education of Children with Special Needs.
Foley's School has been highly successful in these examinations over the years and it also offers an Apolytirion approved by the Ministry of Education. Therefore, it is understandable that a vast majority of its pupils succeed in gaining places at top universities in the UK, Europe, the USA, and Canada.
