The app requires you to plant a seed, which will grow in 10-120 minutes if you leave the forest app in between. If you leave the forest app in between, the tree will die. So, basically, this app allows you to schedule a time when you want to focus on something other than your smartphone. The software keeps you focused and allows you to monitor your past in a pretty nice UI so you know how you've been performing.

You can select the type of tree you wish to grow before planting this seed. The longer you wait, the taller and more healthy it will grow. You may also plant shrubs, which grow in 10 to 15 minutes. Whatever you choose to plant, each tree or shrub signifies a period of time when you promise not to glance at your phone. Each time you successfully cultivate a plant, you will be rewarded with money. With this money, you may then unlock more trees for your forest. You may also find bird nests and other interesting features.
