Foxes

In the top three of the predators of goats is foxes.This tiny predator favors taking down small, lame creatures. However, there are some foxes that may easily murder a goat. Predators typically target young goats since they are the smallest segment of the herd. A goat would assault the mother of the babies once in a while because she was vulnerable after giving birth (young goats).

Like dogs, foxes will murder for sport. This suggests that even when there is plenty of food available, foxes will still attempt to murder goats if they have no other choice. Foxes are difficult to drive away since they are nimble and sly. They typically target herds at night when the majority of goats are unable to see very far.

With an average speed of 31 miles per hour, they can outrun their prey. Actually, they use their bite to kill their prey. The most lethal method used by foxes to kill their victim is a throat bite. Similar to cats, they pursue their victim before murdering it after toying with it. When foxes are extremely hungry, they do not play with their prey; instead, they simply kill it and consume it. About 1,800 goats have been killed by foxes overall, and the number is continually rising.
