‘'Funky New Year’' by The Eagles

The Eagles are an American rock band that was founded in 1971 in Los Angeles. The Eagles were one of the most successful musical bands in North America in the 1970s, with five number-one singles and six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards, and five American Music Awards.

This song "Funky New Year" was the B-side of the band's 'Please Come Home For Christmas,' a non-album gem from L.A.'s 1970s lords of white-funk. During the two-year sessions for their commercially successful 1979 album 'The Long Run,' the band recorded both seasonal compositions.
