The G! festival is the most famous festival in the Faroe Islands which takes place in the village of Syðrugøta on the island of Eysturoy. Stages are built over the beach and soccer field, making this a truly unique three-day event. Set between mountain peaks and the ocean, amid the cliffs that surround the coast, Syðrugøta is housed in a one-of-a-kind natural amphitheater and is set against the backdrop of the breathtaking landscape of the Faroe Islands, mostly grassy mountains.


A wonderful combination of magnificent nature and Faroese hospitality, the stage at the most famous festival G! The festival has attracted world-class music and big names like The Guillemots and Travis, British band Desert Mountain Tribe and many more. Scottish folk, heavy metal, blues, Hackney Colliery Band, local artists, and opera are all present at this most famous music festival in the magical Faroe Islands.
