Gaming Security
The majority of online games now run on a subscription model. Create an online account, join or be a member of an online community, or provide some other form of online verification. In any case, you'll be required to supply sensitive information, including your credit card information in order to play.
Unfortunately, cybercriminals are attracted to online gaming accounts. They not only collect financial and other personal information, but they're also easy to break into. It's almost as if you're opening the door and welcoming them in with an unsecured WiFi connection. A VPN connection (VPN) encrypts your data and transmits it through a secure private server. Hackers will find it considerably more difficult to gain access as a result of this. It also protects you from DDoS attacks (distributed denial of service).
