The 30-inch GE Convertible Under Cabinet Range Hood is designed to fit snugly above your range, capturing cooking oil, smoke, and steam from the pans and pots below. A charcoal insert filters out impurities in the kitchen and can be replaced as needed. The air is vented through vents on the underside of the range hood after it has been filtered. A two-speed motor doesn't offer as many fan settings as a three-speed motor, but the rocker switch makes switching between high and low speeds simple. It isn't as powerful as ducted models, with air flow speeds of 200 CFM, but it is a viable option if you don't have access to an exterior vent.
