At times, product testing might help you feel a little like Goldilocks: one piece is a little bit too large, another slightly too tiny, and finding the ideal product seems unattainable. We felt just exactly like her - before we discovered what we desired at the GE Wine Center, which ranks number 4 on our list of the best wine coolers and fridges.

This single-zone refrigerator - which had a temperature range of 41 to 61 ℉ - was quite small. Hence, the 19-inch wide chamber felt cramped and crammed inside, and we could not quite accommodate a mix of 30 new drinks. At times, removing the shelves seemed risky. It was somewhat louder than the other refrigerators we examined, and its internal temperature control panel responded slowly.

However, other advantages of this GE Wine Center item will more than compensate for its drawbacks. Its structure is sturdy, and its futuristic design would look great in a bar or a tiny kitchen. Even better, the item featured excellent inside illumination. As an extra bonus, GE has graciously included the recommended storage and serving temps for everything - from sparkling wines to full-bodied white beverages.
