To get listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Genius Sports signed a business combination agreement with dMY Technology Group, Inc. II, a special purpose acquisition company, in April 2021. Betgenius, a supplier of technology and data to the gambling industry, and SportingPulse International, a provider of sports data and software, merged to establish Genius Sports in 2016.
