Ghent University
Ghent University is considered one of the best veterinary schools in the world. Although the school is located in Ghent, Kingdom of Belgium, it was founded in 1817 by William I of the Netherlands.
This veterinary school is currently considered one of the best schools on the planet. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine consists of six departments and is located in Merelbek near Ghent, near the Merelbek exit (16) of the E40 Ghent-Brussels motorway. Faculty are managed by the Faculty Council chaired by the dean. Certain domains have different active commissions.
