Goen Jong, after completing her fashion design degree at the prestigious Studio Berçot in Paris, returned to Korea in 2012 to establish her own label under her name. With seven years of experience in Paris, specializing in lingerie, the designer skillfully combines architectural silhouettes with refined romanticism, infusing her unique feminine touch.
The international market quickly took notice of Goen.J, with renowned retailers like Opening Ceremony and Harvey Nichols Hong Kong being the first to recognize its potential. In 2014, despite being a relatively new brand, Goen.J successfully secured its place in all branches of Barneys New York, swiftly solidifying its presence across Europe and the United States.
Remarkably, these achievements were accomplished without relying on marketing campaigns or runway shows. Instead, they were solely attributed to the brand's exceptional designs and aesthetics. Goen.J encapsulates a romantic yet contemporary attitude, offering a fresh perspective on the familiar and ordinary.
