Great Hornbills

Great Hornbills or Great Indian Hornbill usually lives in the Indian Subcontinent and southeast Asia. They live for approximately 50 years. The females have bluish-white eyes and are smaller than the males. The bird's yellow and black hue casque on the top of the bill is a distinguishing feature.

These affectionate birds are too good at choosing partners. Soon, a handsome mate will be chosen, and the male will shower her with presents. He'll keep offering new ones until she accepts them. The most important factor for a female bird is choosing the mate who provides the best gift.

Even bones, dead animals, and twigs are considered priceless gifts. The male bird makes every attempt to win over the female and coexist with her. The true relationship begins when they receive a signal with a favorable indication. They had been in love since the first day of their lives. With crazy laughter and cuddles, they make the most of their time together. Love for partners is this bird's key characteristic. They have a strong belief in love and never betray one another. Till the end of their lives, Great Hornbills will wait for their mate.
