Great potential for harm

Some beetle species have the potential to develop into highly dangerous insects. Larvae of carpet beetles consume feathers and natural fabrics. They frequently ruin wool and other textiles. In late summer and fall, homeowners can find hundreds of individuals gathered outside the house. They are trying to invade the house to find shelter through the winter or avoid harsh conditions.
