Guyana School of Agriculture
The Guyana School of Agriculture (GSA) is a post-secondary university of agricultural schooling in Guyana, founded in 1963 through Dr. Cheddi Jagan. It became a kingdom company in 1964. It gives -yr degree and certificate courses. There are campuses: The first is at Mon Repos, Demerara, whilst the opposite is in Cotton Field Essequibo Coast.
The college has graduated 3,500 college students in one-of-a-kind fields of agriculture and forestry to cope with the improvement of abilities and capacities of the actors concerned in innovation, along with farmers and their organizations, agricultural research, schooling and education institutions, extension and advisory offerings institutions, and the researchers and specialists running withinside the agricultural area of Guyana and the Caribbean. Graduates have come from the Bahamas, Barbados, St Vincent, Dominica, St Vincent, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Nigeria, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Angola.
In 2020, Berbice became taken into consideration as a brand new place for increasing agricultural schooling through incorporating current University of Guyana facilities.
