Hazrat Shah Waliullah

Hazrat Shah Waliullah is a small but informative library. Any student, scholar, or people interested in a certain academic topic should not overlook this library! It was founded by the Delhi Association to encourage people to learn the history and respect heroic figures who have sacrificed themselves for India. Hence, anyone who likes to learn about historic events and background stories of famous people will certainly appreciate this place!

Despite its small size, the Hazrat Shah Waliullah library boasts a quite admirable book collection. This collection contains everything you expect - from the originally written writings of Ghalib to all the scripts of Zauq and much more. The smaller areas hidden behind the curtains even display some of the oldest medieval scripts!

The everyday working hours are from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 a.m, and 9:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m (Sundays are the library's shutdown days). It's the only Delhi that works at night. Therefore, working professionals might choose to read books here after their office hours!
