Hen and Rooster
Carl Bertram established the Hen and Rooster pocket knife company in the German city of Solingen in 1845. The Hen and Rooster knives soon gained a reputation for being of the highest caliber and craftsmanship since Solingen has a long tradition of producing blades. Initially marketed as "Henckels and Sons," the knives were later rebranded as "Hen and Rooster" in 1920.
