Historic Firehouse No. 2
Top 10 in Top 10 Best Wedding Venues in Missouri
Up until 1987, Historic Firehouse No. 2 was a fully running firehouse in Springfield, Missouri. After it was decommissioned, the firehouse was renewed by Collette Parker Restoration into an amazing garden courtyard that features a Greco-Roman folly, limestone benches, a fountain, a mini-temple, a birdbath, and tons of immaculate flowers. Now a turn of the century venue, Historic Firehouse No. 2 is a favored location for all kinds of events of various sizes, but most notably for weddings. The firehouse is capable of celebrating both the wedding ceremony and reception, and the team behind this historic venue is more than thrilled to give a helping hand to couples to plan their dream nuptials.
The historic appearance of an outdoor ceremony at Historic Firehouse No2 is undisputable. Whether it’s a small ceremony in our courtyard garden for family and friends with a ritual foot washing, followed by a larger reception inside,or a larger ceremony, for up to 250 guests, outside followed by a grand reception inside, your special day will most certainly be remembered as an event of historic proportion. Inside or out, they have got the perfect stage to celebrate the beginning of your new life together.
