Honeymoon Island is home to Honeymoon Island State Park, where visitors can walk hand-in-hand through the last remaining stand of slash pine forest and share binoculars to observe birds along the way. Many unique birds can be found here, including ospreys, eagles, and great-horned owls. There are many activities available on this lovely island, including biking, hiking, swimming, shelling, and fishing. The park is also the ferry terminal for access to another unspoiled state park, Caladesi Island.
