Although Honeywell's air purifier is more than other HEPA models, it can cover a wider area than virtually any other purifier I tested: 465 square feet. Despite its bulky appearance (it weighs a whopping 21 pounds), the Honeywell Home is one of the quieter types available.

The Honeywell Home's design isn't my favorite, but it gives you a lot of power when it comes to setting timers and determining whether the prefilter or filter needs to be replaced. You can't go wrong with the Honeywell HPA300 if you're seeking for solid fundamental performance at a fair price.
