Hotel 31

The name Hotel 31 comes from its location on 31st Street, which is between Park and Lexington Heights. There are many bars, restaurants, and cafés around the hotel; we were really pleased! Within easy walking distance are the Empire State Building, Times Square, Herald Square, and Madison Square Park.

By New York standards, the hotel is virtually a steal: double rooms start at 120 EUR (excluding breakfast). The accommodations are intentionally kept basic, yet this is perfect for a couple of nights. Additionally, you'll probably spend most of your time in your hotel room napping. Some rooms have their own bathrooms, while others share a bathroom with another room on the same level and have a separate toilet area.

These are nearly pristine since they are cleaned numerous times each day. The location, cost, and cleanliness of Hotel 31 make it a recommendation even though the hotel won't soon win any design honors.
