House Of Mirrors
Lidia Al Qattan, an Italian-born sculptor, painter, and jeweler, and her family own the house of mirrors. This location has an intriguing narrative to tell, which involves Jalila, her daughter, breaking a mirror and, despite superstitions against broken mirrors, Lidia wanting to do something artistic with the shards. Even though the visits are by appointment only, the hosts are kind and hospitable. Because of the glitter that surrounds the building, it is not something that should be ignored and cannot be missed. The mirrors and art work are simply stunning, leaving you speechless and enthralled. Every wall, from the floorboard to the furniture, is covered in mirrors of various shapes and sizes.
