Douglas and Amy McCoy founded House of POp as a community of highly talented individuals in the arts of hair, photography, modelling, and film who needed a location to call home and a label they could be proud to claim they belonged to. The brand was truly unintentionally launched into much more, and it became evident that the salon had not just established something, but a movement that people wanted to go to and be a part of.

The House of POp you see today is unapologetic about its client-first philosophy, which means that not only are they treated like family, but it also focuses on educating its employees to give great cuts, colors, and blowouts. The salon attempt to make each client feel at ease within its walls and to have a conversation with the salon's staff about their hair. The House of POp collaborates to produce masterpieces and teach its new friends how to achieve the same look at home.
