Teachers who assist their students in their learning environment can have a positive impact on their social and academic outcomes, which is critical for the long-term trajectory of school and, eventually, employment.
Students' motivation and desire to learn are linked to academic improvement and a positive teacher-student relationship. Students who perceive a positive, warm, and close relationship with their teacher are motivated to be more engaged in school and to improve their academic achievement.
